You can get Latios in HeartGold only through a Mystery Gift event, it is then when it’ll appear to you; otherwise you can only get Latias.

2) Sites like Bulbapedia say Latios is in SS and Latias in HG.
3) There are lots of videos showing this to be true.
here’s what i’d do save the masterball for something important or if you run out of ultra balls and dusk balls (only at night)
you could use a master ball
since you will get 1 masterball in the game..which legendary should you use it on for HG/SS ? groudon? mewtwo? or latios or whichever is the one everyone will use

Yes it does, if you download the Arceus from the 12th movie to your game, you’ll unlock the Shinto Ruins, where you can choose from Dialga, Palkia or Giratina ( level 1 )
@megadino305 yeah the game does have sinnoh legendaries u can get a lvl 1 dialga, palkia, or giratina if u bring the TRU Arceus to the ruins of alph, then u get to choose one at sinjoh ruins!

Technically it does you can get Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina through an Arceus event (Not Mystery Gift, like an in-game event)
