That would be awesome,
here are the stats. Lvl. 85 (almost 86)

Defense: 224
Sp.Atk: 206
Sp.Def: 192
Speed: 186
Nature: Rash
Characteristic: Very finicky
ok i got a shaymin that i want to ev train, i also got a macho brace that i gave to my shaymin to hold i have been battling gastlys like there is no tomorrow and still i get +3 as the out come. so out of ur deepest respect wtf am i doing wrong?
i know that the higher the level a pokemon is, the more level up points it will earn when leveling up. but if it has finished the training at early level, will it have the same stats as if it had been EV trained at more level?
Ok I have a lvl 85 Blastoise and decided to EV train it. I got Pokerus and Power Lens. I killed like 25-30 gastlys and when I leveled i got only +6 Sp.Attack. Before the training, I used 1 berry to make the ATTACK stat fall down. Since the first berry brings it down to 100 (I cant use vitemins) that means that there is 155 free space right? Why cant I see difference in the SP.ATTACK since I have all this free EV space? Or should I use 10 berries on each stat (inc.SpAtk) and then do everything??
wat if i hav a zubat and raise it to lvl 30 buy battling. then it might get a whole bunch of different EVs. do i use the berries to put those EVs back to zero?
@NeonxSpotlights It’s pretty easy to check if you’ve reached your EV limit though. Just go see the lady in the seal market who gives out effort ribbons. If she gives your pokemon an effort ribbon, your EV’s are maxed out.
dont be so wrong about saying someones is wrong lol. EV stands for Effort value, or for those of us who dont know, how much training a pokemon has had. that was out in the very first blue and red, it was just that most people didnt realise, just like you.heres proof1 for 1: the box trick made the pokemons stats go up (effort training) and 2: rare candy a pokemon from 1 to 100, then write the stats down, and raise it, the candies ones will be lame as *bows*
Some times you don’t see the effects immediately, but the stat gain will definitely be there before level 100. Alternatively, are you sure it hasn’t already maxed out it’s EV limit?
You can get a maximum of 254 EVs in one stat, but since 254 is not a multiple of 4, it’s best to train to 252 and save the 2 EVs for another the stat. The maximum stat for each pokemon is different.

@MultiYugiohMan1 it doesn’t harm anything to have it, but if you keep battling with that pokemon it will go away eventually.

Effort Value
February 21st, 2010 at 6:00 am
The Maximum is actually 255 not 254. What most trainers follow is 252/252/6

Effort Values. If you defeat a pokemon that is strong in a particular stat, you receive EVs in that stat on your pokemon if you understand?
