why did volkner just give ash the badge?
grotle just evolved! shouldn’t it have an epic battle to EARN the badge in the best gym in sinnoh? i earned MY badge in platinum wasn’t easy with empoleon but i still won!

gible might evolve into gabite like ash’s snorunt did it tried to learn ice beam but failed alot snorunt evolves into glaie and doesperfect ice beam sendsteam rocket blasting off gible will evolve into gabite then instantly learn draco meteor, pwn the sinnoh legue and evolve again into garchomp just you wait. i have a 6th sense when it comes to evolving pokemon.
Well to be perfectly honest with you the Kanto league was just plain embarassing. Johto could have been different, since ORIGINALLY the games were supposed to end with G/S/C. I think there was a possibility if they did, they would of wrapped up with Ash winning the Johto league, but they wanted to continue. His Hoenn league team wasn’t THAT impressive.
Besides if you win the league, it doesn’t mean it’s over for Ash. He still has to get a lot better to complete with the Elite 4 etc.
@animefreak1356 yep either that happens or the writers are mirroring snowrunt and will make it evolve JUST before league, allowing it to master Draco Meteor and become a powerhouse.
Although that’s not needed that much this time around considering Satoshi has a Torterra, Infernape, and Staraptor this time around
@LegendarySpirtesX Oh for sure it would be a great battle thing is, if he beat the Champion.. Well he would nearly be a Master and it would give the anime more closure. I wish that would happen, I really do, but the writers wanna drag this out because essentially its just a marketing tool for the Games really.
I think we may see the day however when Ash returns to Kanto and challenges his home league, and enters his home champion league and conquers it. That will be a day of rejoice.
@Ushful, i dont think Cynthia will stand a chance against Ash’s Charizard. Think about it Charizard beat Scott’s Articuno and the Battle Frontier and Entei was having trouble with Charizard in the 2 Movie, and Gary’s Blastiose!. soo Cynthia Vs Ash would be a battle i’d like to see! : )

And I liked your thoughts about possibly challenging the elite4. It doesn’t matter what pokemon Ash has; because (I feel) fighting the elite four in the games wouldn’t be the same as fighting the elite four in the anime. When you count Ash’s pokemon on hand, at Oak’s, and in training(26 in all), Ash has enough pokemon to 5 vs 5 the elite4 and full battle cynthia

Personally I don’t think Gible will evolve before the league, MAYBE into a Gabite during. I hope Ash takes Gible into whatever the hell the 5th region will be and it evolves into a Garchomp there, perhaps. That would be nice.
I’m also praying if he does win the league this time around, and challenges the Elite 4.. he uses all his Pokemon, not just the Sinnoh team. That way he would have a chance.
