Many of your Reviews about this guide say that after the League, it ditches you. Or, that there is not a full pokedex. Well, do any of you see the big VOL 1 on the right hand corner of your books? That means Volume 1. Which means, there is a Volume 2. I have volume 2, and says nothing about the pokemon league or gym leaders, etc, But it does talk about everything you can do AFTER beating the pokemon league. And there is a Pokedex which lists ALL 490 Pokemon. So Buy that Book Instead.This book though, I Have Never Read. So Based on Your Reviews, This Is What I give It.

A helpful walkthrough for the Pokémon Pearl and Diamond games is accompanied with useful charts and a Pokedex section.

Actually the guide tells you like any other guide the how to’s, but what I didn’t liked is the fact that it doesn’t have an evolutionary chart with levels and attacks like in the previous guides. I had to go to a website to at least find how to evolve the pokemon, which the one thing I love to do the most with these games.

This is the very first Prima Guide I have been disappointed in. Not only is the walkthrough lacking in detail, but it lacks good organization. I dont mind the step 1, 2, 3… thing, it’s the fact that they list all the major things you can do now and in the future on a particular route on the page the first time you encounter it. It confuses me because I dont know the gym leader order or the badge names or anything else (I am not one who reads way far ahead). Another thing is it doesn’t show what the trainer’s pokemon are and for the visible items on the ground it doesnt say which are which. There is no full pokedex, its not even half a pokedex. Its a list of pokemon, doesn’t say who evolves to what or what type they are. If you want that kind of info you have to wait until volume to of the guide comes out. In summary, this guide was a big let down and I dont think it is worth anyone spending even a penny on.
