Pokemon Crystal Cloning Cheat?

Ive used to pokemon cloning cheat for a long time. I was bored so i picked up my gameboy color (yes, the actual gameboy color) and started playing again..but when i tried the cloning cheat, it wont work anymore! im using the same game on the same system, so why wont it work?!?

    Cloning was much easier on the Gold and Silver versions, perhaps you are confusing Crystal with one of those. Other then that, if it’s something to do with powering off during saving, maybe the timing is off.

    there is a cheat but i dont really remember it has something to do with the pc in the game but check the website on the cheat. I know this is one. I did the research for you so just hit the link and go straight down to Cloning pokemon and items. Be warned when you clone save way before so you wont mess up. This my advice, it should work like i used to.
